Recover when Franz sync is delayed, services look missing, or account changes have not reached this device yet, without deleting your saved setup.

Sync is stuck or services are missing

Franz syncs your setup through Franz Cloud so your services and workspaces appear on each device after sign-in. A new device first takes the full account state, then exchanges only the changes after that. When a device has just come online, recovered from sleep, or switched networks, the local view can lag behind the account state for a short time.

Start with a refresh: reload Franz, then wait for the account state to settle. If nothing changes, quit and reopen the app while you have a stable internet connection. This gives Franz a clean chance to refresh your account session and download the latest setup.

Do not delete services just because they look missing on one device. A temporary sync delay can make a device look incomplete even though the account data is intact. Deleting and recreating services during that window makes recovery more confusing.

If the same account looks correct on another device, sign out of Franz on the stuck device and sign in again with the same account email. After the setup returns, individual services may still need their own web session to reconnect, especially after a password change or a long offline period.
